Okay, so I've been going through an emotional roller coaster recently. I've come from a terrible family situation that both my mother and my sister are still in and I've been using these past months to try to make sense of what I should do with my life.

I haven't made much progress until recently because at first I was so overwhelmed with the new life style I've been able to live. However, I've realized that I really need to focus on myself. I need to take everything a bit more seriously. I'll be going off to job corps soon, but before I go I'd like everyone to know that when I come back, I won't be catering to anyone else's ideas for me. I'll be making my own decisions and those decisions will be based on what I feel is good for me.

So many people have promised me things since I came to live here, and so many of those promises haven't been fulfilled. I don't blame any of you. I know how people are. I know how easy it is to promise something and not come through.

But I've been doing things everyone else's way my whole life and now it's my turn to do it my way. This is my future I'm talking about and when it comes down to it, if I fail I want only myself to blame.

I'll still be putting up pictures when I have the time and inspiration to work on something, but when it's time for me to go to job corps, I won't have my computer with me so I'll be absent again as I'm away training.

Also, I have to figure out what I'm going to do with my stuff. There's no room up here to just leave it lying around while I'm gone. And the yellow house IS NOT an option no matter what anyone says. It's never going to be.

I have a lot of decisions to make right now. I apologize if I'm not "considering other people's feelings" at this time. This is about me now. Just like all of you are seeing to yourselves as well.

I'm still always going to be your friend.
